The Field Statistics report offers a summary of the data of live and closed surveys across all of your projects. This document provides an overview of the report and its features.
Note: Only company Supervisors can access and manage the company page.
Accessing Field Statistics
In the Portal, open your company page by clicking your company name or logo. Then click the "Field Statistics" link in the left-hand panel of the page.
Viewing the Report
1. Filters: Displays the currently applied filters. Click the "Filters" button to access the Filters menu, where you can apply the following filters:
- Date: Filter by date. A 3 month date range is included by default.
- Companies: Select a company from the dropdown menu.
- Tags: Enter a tag or select an option from the dropdown menu.
- User Groups: Enter a user group name or select an option from the dropdown menu.
- Paths: Enter a survey path/directory (e.g., 1a2, selfserve/abc/123456 or abc/123456) and press Enter. Multiple entries permitted.
- Exclude Selected Paths: Check to exclude the selected path from the statistics.
- Split Columns By:
- Survey Info: Survey Path, Owning Company, Tags or User Groups
- Respondent Data: Country, Extra Variable, Mobile Device Type, Mobile Operating System or Browser
- Time Period: Day, Week, Month or Quarter
- Split Rows By:
- Survey Info: Survey Path, Owning Company, Tags or User Groups
- Respondent Data: Country, Extra Variable, Mobile Device Type, Mobile Operating System or Browser
- Time Period: Day, Week, Month or Quarter
Once you have selected and configured your desired filters, click "Apply" to apply them to the data table.
2. Export Table: Click to export the field statistics table in an Excel file.
3. Search: Enter a condition to search for a statistic with the stat name from the table and compare it against some value. For example, search for "Clickthrough" > 100 or "Clickthrough" == 5. Use any of the following:
- > (greater than)
- >= (greater than or equal to)
- < (less than)
- <= (less than or equal to
- == (equal to)
- != (not equal to)
4. Transpose: Click to transpose the position of the rows and columns in the table.
5. Table Settings: Click to edit the options included in the table. Once configured, click "Apply".
6. Data Table: The data table offers a summary of the data of live and closed surveys across all of your projects, according to the filters you've applied.
Tip: Show or hide any of the options by editing the table settings.
- Clickthrough: The number of respondents that entered the survey.
- (Partial Completes + Terminates+ Over Quotas + Qualified Completes)
- Total Completes: The total number of completes.
- (Terminates + Over Quotas + Qualified Completes)
- Qualified Completes: The total number of qualified completes.
- Dropouts: The number of respondents started the survey but did not finish it. Also referred to as "Partials".
- Over Quotas: The number of respondents who were terminated due to quota limits.
- Terminates: The number of respondents who were terminated.
- Device Block: The number of respondents who were rejected access to surveys due to device requirements. E.g., The survey device settings were limited to smartphones and a respondent accessed it on a feature phone.
- Open Count:
- Email Count: The number of email invitations sent out (initial emails only, excluding reminders and bounce backs known at the time of email send).
- Clickthrough Rate: The percentage of people that entered the survey in relation to how many email invitations were sent out.
- Table should be filtered to projects that used Decipher email campaigns. This can be done by restricting by the value of an extra variable.
- Participation Rate: The percentage of completes in relation to clickthrough
- ((Terminates + Overquota + Qualified) / Click-Through)
- Qualification Rate: The percentage of qualified completes in relation to total completes.
- (Qualified / (Terminates + Over Quotas + Qualified Completes))
- Dropout Rate: The inverse of the participation rate.
- (100 - ((Terminates + Over Quotas + Qualified Completes) / Clickthroughs))
- Incidence With OQ: The percentage of completes that were qualified or over quota.
- ((Qualified + Overquota) / (Click-Through - Partial))
- Incidence Without OQ: The percentage of completes that were qualified.
- ((Qualified) / (Click-Through - Partial))
- Open Rate:
- Survey Time (Average): The average time taken to complete a survey.
- Survey Time (Median): The median time taken to complete a survey.
