Supported Browsers and Devices

The below list of supported browsers indicates our level of support for each area within the Decipher system. Generally, we are actively testing and verifying that our surveys and / or software are displayed properly on these browsers prior to upgrades and new releases.

Requirements for all browsers:

• All browsers require JavaScript to be enabled.
• The minimum supported browser resolution (i.e., for Decipher, not the respondent view) is 1024 x 768. This is the smallest window size for which we will fix critical functional issues.

Throughout this document, the asterisk character (*) indicates testing is performed in the current version of the browser.

Respondent View

Limited Support: 

• Internet Explorer 11, iOS 11, Android 6, 7: Only critical issues will be fixed.
• Edge, Android 8, iOS 12: New features released starting April 30, 2019 will be supported.

Note:  Forsta will no longer support Internet Explorer starting May 15, 2022.

The following details the online respondent view supported browsers for desktop and mobile devices.

Software Release Testing

For offline surveys in app, testing is focused on physical devices. All other testing is a combination of physical devices and emulators.
