Would it be possible to combine these questions as 1 element?

They are both essentially multiple choice questions.

You can use the autofill syntax condition on a checkbox question but need to apply it in xml

And for some reason you can't link a quota to an autofill, so need to change the autofill to a check box in xml before you can link it

Combining the features of both would be good, so eg on a checkbox question as well as being able to apply an if condition to an item in the list you can also apply an autofill condition
